Running outside in the cold isn't as bad as people make it out to be. As long as you layer up, the cold isn't too noticeable after 5 minutes or so. Running outside in 30 degrees > running on a treadmill in a 75 degree, climate controlled gym.
I agree. I went out for a 10k in cold temps yesterday with sleet/snow. Cold muscles perform better anyhow and it's great to take advantage of that when you can. Thanks for the comment!
